Abul-Samsari range with Patara (small) Abuli, is often referred to the name Abuli. The highest mountain is Didi Abuli at an elevation of 3.301 m above sea level.
Abul-Samsari is a volcanic range in southern Georgia. Volcanic cone is lost because of its high altitude and old age. The slopes of the Abul-Samsari Range are scattered by moraine hills and covered with alpine meadows and grasslands.
There are numerous beautiful small and medium-sized lakes in and around the Abul-Samsari Range.

ITINERARY:
DAY 1: PICK UP FROM TBILISI AIRPORT – TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL
DAY 2: PARAVANI LAKE – POKA NUNNERY – ABULI FORTRESS
After the breakfast, the group of travelers will meet the guides and their assistants. Following the inspection of hiking equipments, the group will depart for the village Gandza. On the way, you will visit stunning Paravani Lake, Poka nunnery. Via village Vladimirovki, we will go towards Abuli fortress. We will set up a camp and have a dinner nearby. Later we will move on to see the Abuli fortress.
Abuli Fortress is a dry built cyclopean fortress, which is located on the Small Abuli Mountain, at an altitude 2550m. After the visitation, we will return to the camp, where we will have dinner and rest.
Overnight will be in the tent.

DAY 3: GREAT ABULI LAKE
Breakfast (08:00-09:00)
After the breakfast we will move on to the picturesque Great Abuli Lake, at an altitude 2870m. You will overnight by the lake in the tents. You will have dinner and well-needed relaxation.

DAY 4: HIKING ABULI PEAK – LEVANGELI LAKE
Breakfast (07:00-08:00)
After the breakfast, you will hike the charming Abuli peak, which is located at an altitude 3301m. Abuli Mountain is extinct volcano, whose slopes are covered with moraines. Later we will descend to the camp and then go to visit scenic Levangeli Lake. On the way travelers will see two more lakes.
In the evening we will set up campsite by the Levangeli Lake, where guests will have dinner and well-deserved rest. You will overnight in the tent.

DAY 5: WHITE LAKE – GREEN LAKE
Breakfast (07:00-08:00)
After the breakfast we will visit White and Green lakes, which are situated at the foot of the Samsari Mountain. We will camp near the Green Lake. We will have dinner and rest in the evening. We will spend the night in the tents.

DAY 6: HIKING SAMSARI PEAK
Breakfast (08:00-09:00)
After the breakfast, you will hike mount Samsari peak, at an altitude 3260m. Later, we will go to the campsite, where we will have needed dinner and rest.
You will overnight in the tent.

DAY 7: TABATSKURI LAKE – RETURN TO TBILISI
Breakfast (08:00-09:00)
After the breakfast, we will descend to exquisite Tabatskuri Lake, which is located at an altitude 1991m and is the most affluent lake in Georgia. You will meet the minivan nearby Tabatskuri Lake and via Tskhratskaro Pass you will return back to Tbilisi. You will dine on the way and overnight in the hotel in Tbilisi.

DAY 8: TBILISI WALKING TOUR – FAREWELL DINNER – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
Breakfast (09:00-10:00)
On this day, you will have Tbilisi walking tour. After the tour, travelers will have lunch and a walk to the famous dry bridge of Tbilisi, where one can buy antiques, handmade items and souvenirs.
In the evening you will have a farewell dinner and transfer to the airport.
