ITINERARY:
DAY 1: PICK UP FROM TBILISI AIRPORT – TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL
DAY 2: TBILISI – DAVID GAREJA MONASTERY – SIGHNAGHI
After the breakfast, you will depart for Kakheti, which is a distinctive region of Georgia, famous for wine-making, vast vineyards, ancient churches and monasteries. You can taste the best wine here. You will visit David Gareja Monastery Complex – founded in the 6th century and located at semi-desert area, at Georgia Azerbaijan border. Later you will visit Sighnaghi city, from where beautiful views of Alazani valley and south Caucasus can be observed.
In the evening, you will try tasty Georgian food. Overnight will be in the hotel in Sighnaghi.

DAY 3: SIGHNAGHI – TSINANDALI – GREMI – CUISINE MASTER CLASS & WINE TASTING – ALAVERDI CATHEDRAL – TBILISI
On this day, you will visit must see sights of Kakheti, such as wonderful Tsinandali garden, which belonged to Chavchavadze noble family. Later, you will have an excursion in Shumi Winery, where you will have cuisine master class and wine tasting. Then, you will visit Gremi Architectural monument (XVI century) and stunning Alaverdi cathedral (XI century).
In the evening you will return to Tbilisi.

DAY 4: TBILISI – ANANURI – GUDAURI – STEPANTSMINDA
On this day, you will head to town Stepantsminda, via old military road. On the way, you will visit beautiful Zhinvali reservoir, Ananuri fortress (XI century), picturesque alpine and sub alpine meadows, skiing resort Gudauri, Bidara travertine – a natural monument. Later, you will visit town Stepantsminda, which is overlooked by Mount Kazbek (5047m) – one of the most attractive peaks in Georgia.

DAY 5: STEPANTSMINDA – DARIALI GORGE – GERGETI HOLY TRINITY CHURCH – TBILISI
On this day, you will visit picturesque Dariali gorge and breathtaking Gergeti Holy Trinity Church (XIV century). In the afternoon you will head to Tbilisi. You will have a lunch on the way, and later will visit former capital of Georgia – Mtskheta, which is UNESCO world heritage site. You will also visit Javri monastery with wonderful views of Mtskheta.
Dinner and overnight will be in Tbilisi.

On this day, you will head to prominent resort Borjomi (famous for mineral water). On the way, you will see rock-hewn city Uplistikhe (IV century BC) and Stalin’s meseum in Gori (optional). Later you will visit Borjomi national park. You will dine and overnight in Borjomi.

DAY 16: TBILISI WALKING TOUR – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
On this day, you will have 3 hours walking tour in old Tbilisi. You will visit all tourist attractions of Tbilisi, such as Narikala fortress, bathhouses, Legvtakhevi, etc. you will also visit Kote Aphkhazi Street which is famous for being multicultural and multi religious. You will find synagogue, mosque and church on this street. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner at a Georgian restaurant, accompanied by traditional Georgian dances and songs. Later, you will have a transfer to the airport.
