ITINERARY:

DAY 1: PICK UP FROM TBILISI AIRPORT & TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL

DAY 2: TBILISI – KATSKHI PILLAR – CHIATURA – KUTAISI

After the breakfast, you will head to western Georgia, where you will visit cultural monuments of upper Imereti – Mgvimevi monastery (XIII century), Katskhi church (XI century), magnificent Katskhi Pillar and exceptional city Chiatura, which is located in the canyon of riv. Kvirila and is famous manganese mining city. Major means of transportation In Chiatura is cable car, which connects one side of the city to another. In the evening you will return to Kutaisi.

DAY 3: BAGRATI CATHEDRAL – GELATI MONASTERY – WINE TASTING – KUTAISI

On this day, you will visit beautiful Bagrati cathedral (XI century – a must see sight of Kutaisi and Gelati monastery (XII century), which is UNESCO world cultural heritage site. In the evening, you will have a wine tasting of local delicious wines and traditional dishes in the village Obcha at Baia’s wine cellar. In the evening you will return to Kutaisi.

DAY 4: PROMETHEUS CAVE – GOCHKADILI (MARTVILI) CANYON – ANAKLIA

On this day, you will visit three amazing natural monuments – Prometheus cave, Okatse and Gochkadili (Martvili) canyons. Later, you will have a wine tasting and lunch at family cellar “Martvili”. You will spend the night in a coastal village Anaklia, where you will dine and rest.

DAY 5: ANAKLIA – ENGURI RESERVOIR – TOWN MESTIA

DAY 6: MESTIA – USHGULI COMMUNITY VILLAGES – MESTIA

DAY 7: MESTIA – CHALAADI GLACIER – ZURULDI MOUNTAIN – MESTIA

On this day, you will visit Chalaadi glacier – located at an altitude 1800 m and later, via cable car you will visit incredible Zuruldi Mountain, from where astounding views of Svanetian Caucasus unfold. In the evening, you will pay a visit to Svaneti museum, where unique exhibits are displayed.

DAY 8: MESTIA – BATUMI – TASTING ADJARIAN CUISINE

DAY 10: BATUMI – TBILISI WALKING TOUR

On this day, you will return to Tbilisi. Later, you will have 3 hours walking tour in the old Tbilisi. In the evening, you will have final dinner, accompanied with a show program of traditional Georgian dances and songs.
