ITINERARY:
DAY 1: PICK UP FROM TBILISI AIRPORT – TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL
DAY 2: TBILISI – DAVID GAREJA MONASTERY – BODBE MONASTERY – SIGHNAGHI
After the breakfast, you will depart for Kakheti, which is distinctive region of Georgia, famous for wine-making, vast vineyards, ancient churches and monasteries. You can taste the best wine here. You will visit David Gareja Monastery Complex – founded in the 6th century and located at semi-desert area, at Georgia Azerbaijan border. Later, you will visit Bodbe Monastery, where, according to the legend, the enlightener of Georgia St. Nino is buried. You will also visit Sighnaghi city, from where beautiful views of Alazani valley and south Caucasus can be observed. In the evening, you will have wine tasting and dinner.

DAY 3: SIGHNAGHI – TSINANDALI – NEKRESI – GREMI – CUISINE MASTER CLASS IN NAPAREULI
On this day, you will visit must see sights of Kakheti, such as Tsinandali museum with wonderful garden and wine cellar, which belonged to Chavchavadze noble family. Later, you will have an excursion in Shumi Winery, where you will be able to observe Georgian wine making tradition. You will also have wine tasting and lunch on the veranda of the Winery. Afterwards, you will visit Gremi Architectural monument (XVI century) and Nekresi (VI century), which is one of the oldest monasteries in Georgia. The overnight will be in Napareuli village, where you will have Georgian cuisine master class: barbeque, cooking Khinkali, making Churchkhela and baking Georgian bread.

DAY 4: ALAVERDI CATHEDRAL – UJARMA FORTRESS – TBILISI
On this day, you will pay a visit to Alaverdi Cathedral (XI century), which is located at Alazani valley. After lunch, in the afternoon, via Gombori pass (from where wonderful views can be observed) you will return to Tbilisi. On the way, you will visit 5th century Ujarma fortress. In the evening you will have dinner at the restaurant.

DAY 5: TBILISI – ANANURI – GUDAURI – STEPANTSMINDA
On this day, via old military road you will head to Stepantsminda. On the way, you will visit Ananuri fortress (XI century), picturesque alpine and sub-alpine meadows, skiing resort Gudauri and via Jvari pass (located at an altitude 2379m), you will descend to Stepantsminda. Here, you will see Bidara travertine – a natural monument. Later, via minivan you will go to the stunning Gergeti Holy Trinity Church, from where striking views of Mount Kazbek (5047m) and town Stepantsminda can be observed.

DAY 6: STEPANTSMINDA – MTSKHETA – NATAKHTARI
On this day, you will return from Stepantsmina and will head to former capital city of Georgia – Mtskheta, which is UNESCO world cultural heritage site. You will also visit Jvari monastery (VI century) from where wonderful views of Mskheta unfold. You will overnight in Natakhtari.

DAY 9: TBILISI WALKING TOUR
On this day, you will have 3 hours walking tour in the capital of Georgia. You will see all must see sights of Tbilisi.
